Back in 2004, Rockstar San Diego developed a video game called red dead redemption 2 online Dead Revolver . Six years later, a spiritual successor named Red Dead Redemption was released, and it was quickly labeled as one of the greatest video games ever m

But this is a Rockstar game, and Rockstar games aren't known for having morally sound protagonists. Depending on how he's played, Arthur Morgan can be downright unlikable, as is evident through these horrifying li

Players must avoid killing either of them, which will end what is one of Red Dead Redemption 2's funnier Stranger Missions prematurely (and a bit gruesomely). The targets are relatively easy to hit using Deadeye, and upon completion, the pair leaves to take Helen home without either of them earning her hand in marriage. Soon after they will appear again in Valentine, this time without Helen, and ask Arthur to beat them up to prove whom is toug

Dutch's origins as a runaway from his impoverished family struggling to make it, and his turn to thievery for survival, also lay the foundation for the gang itself. Dutch feels like an outsider in the frontier, a misfit that dreams of a better life. As such, he collects other outsiders struggling to make it and brings them into his family. He finds a brother in Hosea when they try to rob each other, similar to Anakin finding a brother in Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the two form the bedrock of the Van Der Linde Gang. Dutch then finds sons in Arthur and John , another pair of unfortunate kids trying to survive, and the stage is set for Dutch's series of betrayals in RDR2 . As Anakin turned his back on Obi-Wan and caused Padme's demise, so too does Dutch turn his back on Hosea and set in motion the destruction of John and Art

Many great side stories exist alongside the heart-wrenching events of **Red Dead Redemption 2 ** . As Arthur and John experience the trials and adventures of others, their personalities are also explored more deeply, beyond usual criminal activities and the troubles of the gang. The Stranger Missions successfully flesh out the massive open world, making it feel less empty and more al

Arthur Morgan is a misanthrope at heart. He just really hates people. It's possible to antagonize random people on the street, and sometimes Arthur will ask them, "You want trouble?" This will either result in the person pleading with Arthur to stop or chastising him and fighting b

Sadie's admission to John that she had developed a bit of a death wish, and her penchant for violence, could be enough to keep her in her role for a time after the events of RDR2, which could allow players to experience another powerful narrative of Red Dead 's themes around revenge and redemption. Sadie's character would become more and more hardened, as she is already becoming at the end of RDR2 , losing herself in work and struggling to maintain her humanity in the proc

RDR2 Stranger Mission " Academia for Amateurs " is one of the most endearing missions on the list. Albert Mason is a wildlife photographer seeking to bring awareness to the creatures of the West, to better protect them and their environments. While his efforts are noble, he is more than a little naïve and often finds himself endangered by the very species he's attempting to document. Albert can be difficult to find in the wilds, as he often changes region, but players that can locate him at every step will be sent astounding photographs of the wildlife they help him obtain, which make great mementos of their time with

The original Red Dead Redemption saw John being pulled back into the gunslinging life he had left, only on the side of the law. RDR2 took players back to the time where John and Arthur were still outlaws. RDR3 could strike a creative balance between the two with Sadie's story as a bounty hunter with brutal tactics and an admitted death wish, and the part of her that still yearns for a calmer life. This would give the eventual Red Dead sequel plenty of room to roam as the story carries through her life in the states of RDR2 and __ possibly taking players back through Nuevo Paraiso en route to South America, making for an even larger adventure than the previous entr

When John first arrives at Armadillo , it quickly becomes clear that the cholera plague has taken its toll on the town. Travel around to Coot's Chapel and players may be greeted with the sight of a gravedigger burying and burning a plethora of bod

Chinatown Wars is arguably the greatest handheld entry in the Grand Theft Auto canon - at least according to Metacritic. The game was originally released for the Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable before receiving mobile ports for Android and i

Initially, Red Dead Redemption was a simple tale of a reformed outlaw trying desperately to turn from his wicked ways and make an honest life for his family while constantly being dragged back in because of his old gang. Following Arthur Morgan and the Van Der Linde Gang through RDR2, though, made the narrative a larger tale about a complete family of outlaws struggling to continue their way of life set against the backdrop of a rapidly changing frontier as the lawless West gave way to civilization. In doing so, Rockstar made the Van Der Linde Gang and its leader Dutch van der Linde the actual main characters of the franchise, which makes the perfect narrative for Red Dead Redemption 3 to explore the origins of Dutch van der Linde in a similar way the Star Wars prequels showcased the rise and fall of Anakin Skywalker. While the western frontier of Red Dead may not be as fraught with heroic saviors and malevolent villains, the tale of a hopeful and ambitious Robin Hood figure turned narcissistic megalomaniac is equally as compelling as the origins of Darth Va
